Educational leave

More and more companies offer to their employee’s educational leave. The company pays to the employee one week per year educational leave or every 2 years an educational vacationo of 2 weeks. (Ask your company for more details)

Our courses for educational leave in English and for educational leave in Croatian are for example recognized in most federal states in Germany.

According to the educational programs, an educational vacation course should last 30 hours in a week. DUBROVNIK LANGUAGE SCHOOL "QUEEN MARY" has obtained all the appropriate approvals. And in order to meet these criteria for recognition again and again, we have designed our language courses for educational leave as follows:

• 12 hours core program (preparing texts, grammar + exercises)
• 4 hours of vocabulary
• 4 hours of listening and speaking training
• 4 hours of regional studies (business and work)
• 6 hours of project work in groups and closely related cultural excursions to the old town of Dubrovnik or by boat to the islands of Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan.

The regional aspect: The lessons on regional studies, project work and cultural excursions include topics on life and politics in Croatia, cultural differences to other countries, business and work, art and music.
